By maintaining a dynamic steady-state, the Governor automatically adjusts processing weights to prevent 'neural overheating' or catastrophic logical drift during high-intensity inference. This ensures the model remains within optimal operational parameters, regardless of external workload.
Inhibitory Circuit Breakers
Acting as a high-fidelity ethical circuit breaker, this section implements inhibitory logic overrides to enforce institutional safety boundaries. If a neural output trajectory is predicted to violate pre-set ethical or operational constraints, the Governor triggers an immediate autonomous veto. This proactive suppression prevents the deployment of maladaptive responses, securing the model's alignment with human intent.
Negative Feedback & Homeostatic Recovery
Rooted in my Columbia University research into homeostatic regulation, this module employs recursive negative feedback loops to attenuate minor variances in real-time. This ensures the neural architecture remains self-healing and resilient against adversarial inputs that attempt to destabilize the proprietary 'Neural DNA'. By correcting errors at the point of origin, the system preserves the sovereign integrity of the model state.
Task-Criticality Prioritization
To ensure forensic integrity under load, the Governor optimizes the distribution of computational 'energy' based on task criticality. It ensures that high-stakes auditing processes receive priority resources without destabilizing the broader system. Every allocation shift and veto event is logged as an immutable entry, providing a transparent record of the model's self-regulatory behavior.
